About me

Late 2016, I gathered with family, celebrating with what I deemed to be “good food”. The next morning I was extremely sick. Vomiting, along with a bad case of diarrhea, my body was weak. I could barely walk. I had no clue what I ate that made me sick, but I knew that I was tired of eating unhealthy and feeling terrible. I was fed up with feeling sluggish. I looked “fine”, but was not in shape.

 This was the turning point in my life. I decided to make a conscious decision on everything I consumed. 

I went cold turkey, no pun intended. No meat or processed foods, implementing only raw fruits and vegetables and homemade smoothies for two months. I eventually incorporated shrimp, salmon and crab meat. I continued faithfully having a homemade smoothie daily. I started working out and participating in bikram yoga. I can honestly say in 2017 I came alive! 

Since this was a lifestyle change my children quickly adjusted. I was posting my journey on social media. People were so intrigued they started asking could I make them a smoothie and offered to pay for it. 

In May 2018, I started Smoothies by LovelyP. A few months later, my oldest brother offered me a brand new juicer. Free and unused! Of course I accepted, although I knew nothing about juicing. After researching and discovering the benefits of juicing, I decided to add it to my life and my newfound business. In the middle of re-branding my business, I have decided I will always make smoothies. That’s where my health journey began as well as my business.

I want you to know that my products are for everyone!!! Men and Women of all ages, and children. I’m encouraging a healthy lifestyle not a diet. I want you to know that I am a “regular person”; working a full time job and a Mother of 3 children. I’m striving to be the best version of myself, while offering a natural, holistic way to heal the body, hoping to motivate my community to do the same. Let’s start juicing. Thank You!
